Hello there…
A word from our Club President.
Airdrie is buzzing with enthusiasm for Pickleball! This sport, which is currently the fastest growing in North America, is rapidly gaining popularity in Alberta as well. The beauty of Pickleball lies in its inclusivity, spanning ages from 6 to 90 plus (perhaps even beyond). At the Airdrie Pickleball Club, we are wholeheartedly embracing this trend, inviting our community to step onto the court and relish an incredibly fun sport while fostering enduring relationships and bonds – all the while staying active and healthy.
As a club, our vision for the next few years involves expanding organized Pickleball opportunities, ranging from newcomers to competitive players across Airdrie. Many of our members have already achieved success in tournaments at provincial and national levels within their age categories, and we’re fortunate to have a wealth of experienced members eager to mentor and share their passion for Pickleball. Our primary goal now is to secure more dedicated spaces where enthusiasts can gather, practice, teach, and deepen their understanding of this beloved sport. And we’re thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of our junior program, specially tailored for young players eager to learn, compete, and thrive in the world of pickleball! Pickleball is enjoying an upsurge in love, and we’re committed to spreading the joy throughout Airdrie.
